"I normally like mostly-cotton clothing because it absorbs moisture and feels soft and cool. These socks are 42% nylon, 36% polyester, 17% cotton, 5% spandex, so not what I would usually choose. But I was surprised to find them very comfortable and soft. I wore them for a round of golf. Then washed them and wore again for a routine day. I wore them with the golf shoes, with light slip-on shoes, and without shoes inside the house. They were comfortable and seemed to wick away sweat pretty well. They were stable and not unusually slippery on my wood and tile floors. The main fabric is pretty thin but strong and hugs your feet. And then there is (mostly cotton?) padding applied to the inside on the ball and heel of the sock, as shown in the photo. The padding is substantial enough to feel a sense of cushioning on the bottom of your feet, but not so thick it crowds the foot inside a shoe or causes instability. Notice these socks have a specific Left and Right because the padding on the ball of the foot is angled. I like them. My feet did not feel hot or sweaty while playing golf for 5 hours and the padding on the bottom is comfortable. Nice job, Hurdle."

I highly recommend investing in these if you get blisters normally with other brands. My blisters have gone away. They hug your feet, but not too much. I love them!"
